Saturday is Astronomy Day
The Cradle of Aviation Museum is celebrating International Astronomy Day on Saturday, April 29th.
Hours: Museum 10-5, Activities 12-4
The Amateur Observer’s Society of New York (AOSNY) will be there to help celebrate International Astronomy Day with solar telescopes, talks, and demos!
Astronomy and Telescopes – 12-4 pm, Free with museum admission
Thinking of getting a telescope? Ask the experts! AOSNY will answer any questions you have about stargazing on Long Island.
Astronomy Talks – Timed sessions between 12-4 pm, Free with museum admission
Participate in current night sky talks, and hands-on activities led by members of AOSNY and the Cradle of Aviation Staff.
Planetarium Shows (separate admission required – just a $5 add-on with your paid museum admission)
