BANQUET TO CELEBRATE AOS SUCCESSES!
So many people worked so hard in 2009 that it's time to celebrate our successes.
We held another successful StarFest star party.
We hosted a world astronomical convention.
We brought astronomy to the public as they visited concerts in our parks.
We embarked on a public observing program at Jones Beach Nature Center that may bring an observatory to Nassau County.
Young people avail themselves of our Young Astronomers program.
We regale the public every clear Saturday night with sights of the heavens at our observatory in Southold.
We continued a near half century program at Waterfront Park in Freeport.
